In line with new GDPR regulations in effect from 25 May 2018, this privacy notice provides you with details of how we handle any personal data that you give to us, or that we collect, store or process about you.

This policy may change from time to time to reflect changes in the law and/or our own privacy practices and policies.

LaserZone, Xplore, 4D Golf, ShakeStop and The Raid are all trading names of separate Limited Companies that are part of Gold Key Leisure Group Ltd. This policy applies individually to each of the Companies listed below:

2. The kind of information do we hold/process

Personal information that we’ll process includes: 

  • Personal and contact details, such as title, full name, address, telephone number, email address
  • Your date of birth and/or age of you and/or your children/dependents, in the case of birthday party bookings
  • Records of your contact with us, such as notes about telephone bookings or enquiries
  • Records/details of bookings/reservations, such as times/dates/number of guests/package types of bookings past, present and future
  • Marketing to you and data analysis, including history of those communications, whether you open them or click on links, and information about products or services we think you may be interested in, and data to help target offers to you that we think are of interest or relevance to you 
  • Financial information, such as past/present/future payment details, credit/debit card data, records of financial interactions with us, payment methods and details of deposits/pre-payments made/held for bookings/visits
  • Waivers/consent forms/agreement to T&Cs, in particular with regard to Xplore soft play
  • Loyal scheme data, such as records of any loyalty points earned, dates/times of historical transactions/visits
  • CCTV footage, for safety, security and quality/service monitoring and training
  • Other imagery/photos/videos, captured for sale or marketing purposes, such as the Zappix photo-booth and photos/videos taken at site to publish to social media etc
  • Miscellaneous data, in line with the general day-to-day running of our venues, eg records of laser tag scores, accident report forms, party hosting logs, enquiries/forms/emails sent/received by/to us, job applications, competition entries/winners, social media enquiries/interactions

3. What is the source of information we hold?

We’ll collect personal information from the following general sources:

  • From you directly
  • Information generated about you when you use our products and services
  • Gold Key Leisure Group companies 
  • Business partners (for example, financial services institutions, insurers)
  • From other sources such publically available directories and information (for example, telephone directory, social media, internet, news articles), marketing data/lists purchased from third parties and other organisations to assist in prevention and detection of crime, police and law enforcement agencies

Where we’re relying upon your consent to process personal data, you can withdraw this at any time by contacting us using the details below.

You should tell us so that we can update our records using the details in the Contact Us section of our website. We’ll then update your records if we can.

We’re unable to provide you with our products or services if you do not provide certain information to us. In cases where providing some personal information is optional, we’ll make this clear.

10. For how long is your personal information retained by us?

Unless we state otherwise, we’ll hold your personal information:

  • For as long as we have reasonable business needs, such as managing our relationship with you and managing our operations
